excited sa new year

Konti na lang ang mga tao sa office. 3 na lang ata kaming hub na natira, Migrations, Service Contracts, and License Contracts. Haaay... parang ang sarap umuwi at mag spring cleaning...hehe. Marami ako balak this new year. Gusto ko alisin lahat ng clutter sa bahay at buhay ko, gusto ko ng fresh start, as in fresh start, ayoko na ma "stuck in reverse"..hehe, although I admit that it's still my favorite line from the song Fix You.

Sobrang whirlwind sa aking itong taon na ito at sobrang dami kong natutunan na sana lang eh ma-apply ko sa araw araw..hehe. I have already lived 25 years of my life and I have never felt better than ever, can't wait for next year..hehe.

too much test tube shots

It was our quarterly business report yesterday which is also synonymous to our company xmas party. Here in our office we don't call it as such because not all employees are Christians so to avoid discrimination we call it quarterly business report with alcoholic drinks and band after powerpoint presentations of goals and numeric figures.

Our theme for the party was masquerade and everyone was looking for a mask to wear, most of us bought mask from our officemate for 180 pesos only to find out later that no one really wore the mask at the party. My 180 pesos went straight to the trash!

The party was held at Blue Leaf Pavillion in Mckinley Hills, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. The caterer was Albergus and the food was damn great. Unfortunately I wasn't able to taste the pasta because you have to wait a couple of minutes since they will cook your pasta as you say with your personal choice of toppings.

The emcees for the night was Magic 89.9 dj's - Mo, Mojo, Grace Lee, and Andy 9. I was a fan of the morning show Goodtimes but eversince I realized that Mo was a little negative for the morning I switched to the Morning Rush with C&D. But seeing Mo Twister last night made me want to listen to the show again because I still think that no matter how negative he may seem his mind is greater than C&D combined.

The main event of the party was the dance competition but for most people including me, the main event was the opening of the bar and the band! woohoo! Unlimited test tube shots, tequilla, and non stop dancing! I'm not really a disco person but ever since I joined this company I learned what a real party is...hehe. I couldn't remember how many test tube shots I drank but I remember having only 3 tequilla shots. My feet won't stop moving even though my legs were already aching because of my high heeled sandals, good thing I brought my good old flipflops...hehe.

I really had a blast last night. I wasn't expecting I would be able to talk to my crush at the party and although we were both tipsy and drunk we were able to chat for a while and we were even the last person to leave the venue. That explains why he didn't report for work today...hehe. Too bad my close guy friend told me that my crush is gay and I don't like to believe him and I kept saying that I'm hurt...hehe. Well, gay or straight, I'm just happy that I was able to pull a conversation last night.

I really got drunk last night and I had to throw up to lessen my drunkness..hehe. Good thing I was still in control of my moves and I can still walk straight but what I couldn't control was my mouth. I was aware that I was getting talkative and loud last night but I really had a hard time keeping my mouth shut! Good thing I didn't do anything stupid besides getting Gelo's drink...hehe and thanks for my friends who looked after me last night. Thanks a lot, but I'm really fine and I promise to drink a little lesser next time to lessen my locquaciousness..hehe.

happy 25th birthday

Just turned 25 yesterday and on my 25th birthday I wanted to make a list of the things that I'm thankful for, the things that I've achieved, things that I've learned, things that I have to remind my self, and dreams that may or may not come true.

At 25 I am thankful for..

...waking up on my 25th birthday
...having a good paying job
...having my 3 y/o phone get fixed
...good health
...good old and new friends
...all the greetings, unexpected and expected
...having a family that I may not usually get long with but will surely not trade for any other family
...being able to travel and see all the beautiful places I've been to
...all the blessing that I have that I don't notice or tend to neglect

At 25 I was able to..

...loose 21 lbs
...start a healthy and semi active lifestyle
...run a 10k marathon
...play ultimate frisbee
...control and learned to guard my feelings

At 25 I have learned that..

...it is never helpful to be assuming
...you cannot have eveything that you want, if you do, where would you put them?
...motivation should come from oneself
...family will always be your fall back
...sometimes it's better to be friends
...we should always KISS (KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!)

At 25 I should remind myself to..
