to the land of the gods

Had dinner with Leica last night at CYMA Greenbelt 2. It's a Greek restaurant. The food was really good except that it was oily. The ambiance and our server for the night was really good too. It was our first time to eat at CYMA and I could say I was pretty satisfied. The servings were really big. A solo pasta could feed two people and a single chicken gyro which they said is good for one person is actually good for two. We ordered the Garides Mi Feta Pasta, it was tossed in tomato sauce with four big shrimps and cheese cubes. The price may not be cheap but at least you could half the price since all the food is for sharing. One food really caught our attention, we ordered Saganaki for appetizer. It is also called the flaming cheese and indeed it was flaming...hahaha. I was shocked when I saw the flame and heard every server shout OPA! all together, I thought it would burn Leica's hair...hahaha. Our dinner didn't end in CYMA, we wanted to have Mcdo ice cream but we ended up buying Gelato, one scoop of ice cream for 100 pesos!!! But the ice cream was really good, at least for me who ordered Hazelnut ice cream.

It's feels good to meet up with friends once in a while. Leica and I actually decided to make it a date to eat out once a month at restaurants where we haven't tried. Though it would be happier if the Stowkies were complete, we decided to make it just the two of us first and just invite anyone who's interested and available because of the schedule difficulty.

Work is just like school, it interferes with barkada life...hahaha
